Letter of Notification -Coronavirus

LETTER OF NOTIFICATION

Dear Customers:

A new coronavirus, designated 2019-nCoV, was identified in Wuhan, Hubei province, China early January, after people developed pneumonia without a clear cause and for which existing vaccines or treatments were not effective. The virus has shown evidence of human-to-human transmission and its transmission rate (rate of infection) appeared to escalate in mid-January 2020, with several countries other than China reporting cases.

We treat this current situation very seriously for our EDAC employees in China and global customers around the world. We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis. As of Jan 28th, there has not been any impact to shipments in transit or finished goods shipping out of Hong Kong. Beijing labor authorities have released a “notice on stabilizing labor relations during the period of epidemic prevention and control so as to better protect and benefit employees.” Since then, the PRC Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued its own nationwide “notice on the proper handling of labor relations during the period of epidemic prevention and control.”

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and advise our customers of any impact or potential impact upon our supply chain. All appropriate actions will be taken to mitigate risk of disruption.
